Every cell is the monthly total with the figure per seat in parentheses, on annual billing (price per seat per month as advertised, billed annually). The last two columns give the monthly-billing price and how many times larger it is than the annual one. Every figure is a floor: taxes, add-ons, contact capacity beyond the plan cap and any one-time fee sit outside it. Copper states that its prices "don't include taxes and fees where applicable". folk Enterprise is a "From" price and Streak Enterprise is "Contact us".

Short version
- On annual billing the entry plans are HubSpot Starter $7, Copper Basic $23, folk Standard $24 and Streak Pro $49 per seat a month. At 10 seats that is $70, $230, $240 and $490 a month.
- Paying monthly instead of annually multiplies the price by 1.17 (Copper Professional) up to 2.86 (HubSpot Starter).
- Copper's lower tiers carry contact caps: 2,500 on Basic and 15,000 on Professional. Business is listed as unlimited.
- Streak has a free plan, but it holds email tools only and "does not include CRM pipelines". HubSpot's free tools stop at 2 users and 1,000 contacts.
- The notes taken from these four pages record no Google Workspace edition or admin requirement.
What do the vendors say about Gmail and Google Workspace?
Only what is on the pricing pages, and it is thin. Copper's page is branded "Google Workspace CRM" and says it brings Copper "natively into Gmail and Google Calendar"; it makes no requirement statement. Streak's page says Streak is "built directly into Gmail". Nothing recorded from the folk or HubSpot pages mentions Gmail or Google Workspace, so they are in the table as price comparisons for a team that already uses Google Workspace, not as Gmail-native tools. This site does not test products, so how well any of them works inside an inbox is outside what a price table can say.
What sits under the seat price?
| Vendor | Caps and conditions | Trial | Required one-time fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Copper | 2,500 contacts (Basic), 15,000 (Professional), unlimited (Business); USD, taxes extra | "Start free, no credit card required"; no day count | none listed; personal onboarding for eligible Business and Professional annual accounts |
| Streak | "Every user on the team counts as a paid seat"; AI credits add-on from $100 a month for 1,000 credits; USD only | 14 days | "No required fees" |
| folk | Cards only; billing is per workspace; Enterprise is custom | 2 weeks, no card; the account is blocked if you do not upgrade | none; a 1:1 onboarding session is listed as a feature |
| HubSpot Starter | 500 HubSpot Credits included; free tools capped at 2 users and 1,000 contacts | free tools have no time limit | none stated for Starter |
How is the table calculated, and what does paying monthly add?
Plan per month is the published seat price times seats billed, and seats billed is the larger of the seats you have and the plan minimum. None of these four pages states a seat minimum, so seats billed equals seats you have. Monthly gap is the monthly price divided by the annual price.
Worked once: Copper Professional at 10 seats is $59 x 10 = $590 a month, or $590 x 12 = $7,080 a year. The same 10 seats paid monthly are $69 x 10 = $690, so the gap is $69 / $59 = 1.17.
The gap grows when the discount is deep. Ten Copper Basic seats cost $29 x 10 = $290 monthly against $23 x 10 = $230 annually, which is $60 more a month or $720 a year. Ten HubSpot Starter seats cost $20 x 10 = $200 against $7 x 10 = $70, which is $130 more a month or $1,560 a year. The guide to monthly versus annual billing covers the gap across all vendors.
Where do I check the next team size?
For teams of 10 to 24 the generated ranking is best/us-simple-10-24, and best/us-simple-5-9 covers 5 to 9. The vendor pages in full are Copper, Streak and folk. For one pair side by side, Capsule against folk uses the same method. To enter your own head count, use the calculator.
