Why does that sentence matter here?

The usual business model in this category is to collect your name, company size and phone number and sell them to vendors as a qualified lead, or to book you a demo. We do not do that, and there is no form here that could. The only place data leaves your browser is the contact form, and that goes to the editor.

Who processes data, and on what basis?

The controller is an individual publisher (unincorporated); a legal name is provided individually for any formal request through the contact form. Processors: Cloudflare (hosting and cookieless analytics) and Formspree (the contact form, hosted in the United States). The legal basis for handling a contact-form message is our legitimate interest in replying to it. Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and then deleted; you may ask for a copy or deletion through the same form.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. We see page counts and referring sites in aggregate. We cannot see who you are.

The contact form

The contact form is hosted by a third party, Formspree. What you type into it is transmitted to and stored by Formspree, and forwarded to the editor by email. Do not put anything confidential into it. Formspree's privacy policy applies to that data in addition to this page. Messages are used only to reply.

Links out

Following a link to a provider takes you to their site, under their privacy terms. Some of those links may become affiliate links, which means the provider is told the visit came from here — not who you are. This is described on the disclosure page.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or share contact details, and we do not pass your details to providers as a sales lead. There is no mailing list. The calculator sends nothing anywhere and the method page describes what we collect about providers, which is only what they publish.
