How this site is meant to make money
By referral fees from global employment providers when a reader signs up after following a link from here. The reader pays the same price either way; the provider pays out of its own marketing budget.
The conflict of interest, stated plainly
The published referral fees in this category reach $1,500 per customer, and the providers that pay most are not the cheapest. A site funded this way has a standing incentive to steer readers toward whoever pays best. Assume every comparison site in this category has that incentive, including this one.
What we do about it is structural rather than a promise. Every ordering on this site is by a computed number — statutory cost, or published price, ascending — and nothing else. There is no score we could quietly weight. Several providers we list have no program we are in at all, and two of them sit at the top of the price table. The method page gives the sort key in full.
The second thing we do is publish the statutory employer cost first and the provider fee second. The statutory cost is the larger number in almost every country, and it is the number a provider-funded calculator has no reason to emphasize. Putting it in front of the fee costs us conversions, which is the point.

A link that earns us a fee carries rel="sponsored nofollow". A link that does not carries rel="nofollow" only. Source and citation links are never marked sponsored.
