Editorial policy
Every figure here carries the date it was last checked against its source, and every correction is dated and kept on the page.
This page states how that works, and how AI is used in drafting.
Corrections
When we find or are told about an error of fact, we correct it in the article and add a dated note at the foot of the page saying what changed and why. We do not silently rewrite. Errors that change a conclusion are also listed on this page. To report an error, use the contact form; we aim to reply within two business days.
Corrections log
Corrections to country data and provider records appear in the change log, with the old value, new value, date and reason. Article source notes identify the scope and date of review.
Updates
Every figure on this site shows the date it was last checked against the source. "Last full data refresh" in the footer is the date on which every figure in the dataset was re-checked. A page's "Updated" date records changes to that page; it does not mean every rate or contract term was re-verified. Read the source dates for individual facts. Figures not re-checked within 90 days are flagged "Not re-checked since (date)".
How we use AI
Drafts on this site are written with the help of AI tools and then checked by the editor against the source documents listed on each page. Published rates and prices come from the cited sources; totals, percentages and comparisons are calculated from those inputs using the published formulas. We do not invent test results or personal experience. Charts illustrate the published calculation assumptions; they do not report hands-on product tests.
What I do not do
No hands-on testing, no paid placements, no sponsored posts, no press samples.
The ordering method and the formula behind every figure are on the method page; the money side is on the disclosure page.
