A year at 10 employees: Basic $9,480, Plus $14,880, Deel $15,000. With no base fee, the effective cost per employee equals the rate at any headcount. Other headcounts are in the calculator set to PEO.

The dollar between Plus and Deel

As prices, $124 and $125 are the same number. Whatever separates the two sits outside the price. Justworks describes Plus as Basic (payroll, compliance, HR consulting, 24/7 support, a 401(k)) with medical, dental and vision, HSA/FSA, mental health and fertility benefits added. Deel's PEO is recorded in this site's data with tax filing and multi-state payroll included, and the data holds no breakdown of its benefits. Neither pricing page, as read, says that insurance premiums themselves are inside the rate. A $1 gap gives you nothing to choose on; what each rate contains is a question for both vendors.

What Basic leaves out for $79

Justworks Basic is $45 a head below Plus, and the page's own difference between them is the medical, dental, vision and related benefits that Plus carries and Basic does not. Against Deel, Basic is $46 a head lower: $1,150 a month at 25 employees, $2,300 at 50. What Basic costs once benefits are added to it is not on the page.

What Deel's page showed, date by date

This site's change log records Deel's PEO rate moving from $95 to $125 on 2026-09-06. On 2026-09-27 the page disagreed with itself: the Hire tab read "$125 per US PEO employee per month" while the Pay / US tab read "PEO Starter $110" and "PEO Pro $120". This site kept $125 until the page became consistent, and the re-read on 2026-10-03 showed $125 alone. Whether a Starter and Pro split still exists cannot be told from that day's page.

For Justworks, nothing after 2026-09-06 has been confirmed. The page returned 403; that is a reading failure, not a sign that anything changed.

The two-year promotion, in dollars

Deel's condition reads: new PEO agreements signed 2026-07-15 to 2026-12-31, two-year minimum term, three months of platform fees credited. If "platform fees" means the whole $125 rate, three months at 10 employees is $1,250 x 3 = $3,750, which takes the 24-month list total of $30,000 down to $26,250. If it means part of the rate, the credit is smaller. The wording on the page does not settle which, so it goes on the list of things to confirm before signing.

Justworks' PEO plans carried no promotion in the 2026-09-06 reading. Its "3 Months Free!" offer was on the Payroll plan ($50 + $8).

Both sell EOR at $599

For hiring in a country where you have no entity, Justworks and Deel each charge $599 per employee per month for an employer of record. Deel's EOR is month-to-month with no long-term commitment (2026-10-03). Justworks' EOR is listed for global hiring with no base fee stated (2026-09-06). Remote is $699 and Papaya Global from $499; the Employer of Record pages adds each country's employer costs on top. Deel against Remote on payroll and contractor pricing is in Deel vs Remote, and Deel alternatives by cost ranks the vendors that could replace it.

What this page assumes

List prices only. No quoted discounts, no premium rates, no benefit plan contents. Product and support quality are outside this site's scope. US PEO only. Justworks PEO against Gusto's payroll software is its own article, and all four PEO rates are in PEO rates per employee.
