What does ExpressVPN charge after the first 28 months, and how is Teams priced?

After the first 28 months, ExpressVPN's consumer plans renew every year at $99.95 for Basic, $119.95 for Advanced and $199.95 for Pro. The first bill is lower: $83.72, $125.72 and $209.72 respectively, covering two years plus four bonus months. ExpressVPN for Teams, the business version, starts at five licenses and is priced per license, from $9.74 a month on monthly billing down to $3.05 a month on a two-year term at the smallest volume tier.
Consumer plans
The U.S. pricing page currently shows only the two-year offer. Basic is advertised at $2.99 a month and billed $83.72 for 28 months, then "autorenews at $99.95 annually." Advanced ("Most Popular") is $4.49 a month, $125.72 up front and $119.95 a year after that. Pro is $7.49 a month, $209.72 up front and $199.95 a year.
Device limits go up one step at a time: 10 simultaneous devices on Basic, 12 on Advanced, 14 on Pro. All three reach servers in 113 countries.
The discount badges ("Save 80%" on Basic) compare against "the current monthly service price for the selected tier," according to the page's footnote. Prices are in U.S. dollars, with sales tax added at checkout.
What the extra money buys
Most of the difference between tiers isn't the VPN.
- Basic blocks ads, malicious sites and adult sites, and includes a private email relay capped at 10 MB a month.
- Advanced also blocks trackers and adds the ExpressKeys password manager, Identity Defender with up to $3 million of identity theft insurance, and a 3 GB, three-day travel eSIM.
- Pro raises the insurance cap to $5 million, stretches the eSIM to five days, adds the ExpressAI assistant and includes a dedicated IP address. On Basic and Advanced a dedicated IP is an add-on, and the consumer page doesn't list its price.
ExpressVPN for Teams
Teams has its own pricing page, with a "5 licenses minimum" and a volume chart. At five to nine licenses a license costs $9.74 a month on monthly billing, $4.68 a month on a 12-month term and $3.05 a month on a two-year term. At 50 or more licenses the same three terms drop to $6.50, $3.12 and $2.04. The tiers in between (10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49) step down gradually.
For a five-person team that works out to $48.70 a month, $280.80 a year or $366.00 every two years, which are the auto-renewal amounts the page itself shows. Seats added mid-term are charged pro rata and renew alongside the rest. A dedicated IP for Teams costs $390 a year per location and is available on 12-month and two-year terms. All Teams prices are in U.S. dollars before VAT or sales tax.
