ExpressVPN for Teams pricing: 5 licenses minimum, three terms, a $390-a-year dedicated IP

The numbers first

What one license costs

The Teams pricing page is a single chart: six license bands down the side, three terms across the top. The list price is $12.95, and each band is a percentage off that.

LicensesLabelMonthly12 months2 years
5-925% OFF$9.74$4.68$3.05
10-1930% OFF$9.09$4.37$2.85
20-2935% OFF$8.44$4.05$2.65
30-3940% OFF$7.79$3.74$2.44
40-4945% OFF$7.14$3.43$2.24
50+50% OFF$6.50$3.12$2.04

Every cell is US dollars per license per month, and the page adds "All amounts shown are in USD before VAT or sales tax." The chart stops at "50+"; beyond that the page offers "Volume pricing: Custom" and a sales contact. This site's dataset recorded a 500-license ceiling when it read the page on 2026-09-07; that number was not in the text read on 2026-10-02, so the row has carried it as unconfirmed since that day.

Five people

With a five-license minimum, a team of five pays the top row of the chart and nothing else. The page does the multiplication itself in its auto-renew lines.

Stretch that to three years and monthly billing comes to $48.70 x 36 = $1,753.20, the 12-month term to $280.80 x 3 = $842.40. The 2-year term does not divide into 36 months; two renewals buy 48 months for $732.00.

Monthly against the 12-month term is $9.74 against $4.68, so monthly costs 108% more. Across the vendors on this site that print both prices, the gap has run 18% to 29% (article-08). ExpressVPN for Teams sits far outside that range.

Ten people

The tenth person moves you to the next band, so a team of ten reads the 10-19 row.

Five people were $48.70 on monthly billing; ten are $90.90. Twice the headcount, 1.87 times the bill, because the per-license rate fell from $9.74 to $9.09 when the band changed.

Only the band edges on the chart are knowable. Eleven people and nineteen pay the same $9.09; the twentieth drops everyone to $8.44. Inside a band, adding people changes the total and not the rate.

Adding a dedicated IP

"Dedicated IP for Teams" is $390 a year per location, which is $32.50 a month. On the page it appears with the 12-month and 2-year terms, not on the monthly row.

Per person, the dedicated IP adds $6.50 at five and $3.25 at ten. A fixed charge is divided by headcount, so the smaller team carries more of it. The same arithmetic for every vendor that sells one is on the dedicated IP cost page.

Why this site shows it but does not rank it

Every ranking on this site takes one per-user price per plan, multiplies by the people billed, adds any required fixed charge and divides by headcount. ExpressVPN for Teams has no single price to put in that first slot. $4.68 is the price for 5 to 9 licenses; it is not the price for a team of 50. Apply $4.68 to 50 people and the ranking overstates them against the $3.12 they would pay. Apply $3.12 to five people and it understates them.

So the dataset flags these rows as "from" prices and keeps them out of every ordering. The vendor page (d/expressvpn-teams) carries the figures and the notes as read, the full vendor list marks the row as listed but unranked, and the rule itself is on the method page.

For orientation only: if the 5-9 figure of $4.68 were dropped into the five-user ranking, it would land between Firezone Team at $4.16 and Twingate Teams and Windscribe ScribeForce, both at $5.00. Change the band and that position changes with it, which is exactly why it is not a ranking.

How it differs from the consumer plans

ExpressVPN's consumer page leads with two-year offers: Basic at $2.99 a month, Advanced at $4.49, Pro at $7.49, each billed as 28 months up front. Teams starts at five licenses and prices each one by band. What the consumer plans renew at, and how the Teams chart was first read, is in article-30.

A 30-day money-back guarantee for new users is stated on the Teams page as well.

Who this is not for

A team of four buys five licenses and leaves one empty. Four people on the 12-month term pay $280.80 a year, which is $5.85 per person per month rather than the $4.68 on the page. That is the same minimum-seat arithmetic this site runs for every vendor with a floor; ExpressVPN for Teams simply does not appear in the tables because of its band pricing.
