Business VPN cost for 100 users: who publishes a volume discount
The month you hire person 101, Twingate Teams leaves the table. Its $500.00 bill for 100 is replaced by the next Twingate row, Business, at $10 x 101 = $1,010.00. Teams is capped at 100 users, and 100 is the last headcount at which the cheaper Twingate can be bought. The 50-user article made the point that minimums have stopped mattering by then; at 100 the only things still moving a per-user price are caps and seat bands.
What the pages say
- Seventeen paid US-dollar plans fit a team of 100 (the 19 at 50, less UTunnel's two rows). Per person they run $4.16 to $18.00, middle figure $8.00; as a bill, $416 to $1,800 a month.
- Two vendors print a table where the rate falls with the seat count: PureVPN Business ($9 for 1 to 10 seats down to $4 at 501+, monthly billing) and ExpressVPN for Teams ($4.68 for 5 to 9 licenses down to $3.12 at 50+, 12-month term). Both are band prices, so neither is in this site's ranking.
- NordLayer Enterprise's "From $6" carries a 200-user minimum and does not apply at 100. NordLayer at 100 is Lite at $8.
- GoodAccess Enterprise is "On Request" from 50 users and VyprVPN says organizations "adding over 100 users get an additional 15% discount"; neither prints the discounted figure.

The two rows that dropped are UTunnel VPN Basic and Standard, both "maximum 50 users"; past 50, UTunnel sells Custom on a quote. In euros, NetBird Team at €6 is €600 a month and €21,600 over three years; Business at €12 is €1,200 and €43,200. Nothing is converted.
Only NordLayer Core and Premium cost more than their printed rate here, and the $40 server is $0.40 a head at 100, half of what it was at 50.
The two vendors that print a rate per seat band
PureVPN and ExpressVPN put the table that changes with headcount on the page itself.

The two vendors' bands do not line up, so each row follows PureVPN's band with ExpressVPN's in brackets. PureVPN's annual column has a single $6 from 11 to 100 seats where its monthly column splits into $8 (11 to 50) and $7 (51 to 100). ExpressVPN also prints a 2-year column, $3.05 down to $2.04, which this site does not compare because every other row here is on monthly or yearly billing.
Reading the two at 100 people:
- PureVPN Starter, annual, 51 to 100 band: $6 x 100 = $600 a month, $21,600 over three years. Monthly billing, $7 x 100 = $700.
- PureVPN Starter at 101 seats: $5 x 101 = $505 a month on annual billing, which is less than the $600 for 100. Monthly: $6 x 101 = $606 against $700. At the band edge, hiring one more person lowers the bill.
- ExpressVPN for Teams, 50+ licenses, 12-month term: $3.12 x 100 = $312 a month, $3,744 a year. On a 1-month term, $6.50 x 100 = $650.
- Both are below the $416 at the top of the ranked table. They stay out of the ranking because this site treats a band price as a "from" price. ExpressVPN's page also says "before VAT or sales tax," and the tax footing of the other rates cannot be read.
PureVPN's static IP ($5.99 a member, $4.99 on annual billing) and Team Server ($50 a month), and ExpressVPN's dedicated IP ($390 a year per location), are optional and left out of the figures above.
The vendors that say "discount" and print no number
- NordLayer Enterprise: "From $6 USER/ MONTH," "With Lite plan," "200 users minimum" on the yearly toggle, with the line "The price may vary if a higher plan or additional features are selected." It does not reach down to 100. At 200, Lite would be $8 x 200 = $1,600 and the Enterprise floor $6 x 200 = $1,200, but "from" means this site does not compute it.
- GoodAccess Enterprise: "minimum 50 users," "On Request." No rate is printed for the band above 50, so Essential at $7 and Premium at $11 remain the readable figures at 100.
- VyprVPN Business: "Orgs adding over 100 users get an additional 15% discount." The only price on the page is the 5-user bundle, $55.00 a month or $329.99 a year, with no rate for user six onward, so there is no per-user number to take 15% off.
- Twingate Enterprise, Firezone Enterprise, Tailscale Enterprise, OpenVPN Enterprise & IoT, Proton Enterprise, PureVPN Pro: all "Custom." At 100, the readable rate at each of these vendors is the plan below Enterprise.

At 100 people, one dollar on the rate is $100 a month and $3,600 over three years. The $0.84 between Firezone Team and Twingate Teams is $3,024 over three years. The $5 between Twingate Teams and Business lands all at once with user 101: $510.00 a month more ($1,010.00 - $500.00), $18,360 over three years.

Who this is not for
This page does not say which product fits a 100-person organization. It holds the plans that compute at 100 in price order and the two tables of seat-band rates. If you are at the quote stage, printed rates are the floor of a negotiation, and the question list for quote-only vendors is the more useful page.
