Surfshark for business: what its pricing page shows and what cannot be read

What the page says

What changed between September 7 and October 2?

On 2026-09-07 this site recorded surfshark.com/business as disallowed for automated reading by robots.txt, and surfshark.com/business/pricing as a 404. That is why d/surfshark-business said only that the prices could not be read until the row was corrected on 2026-10-02.

On 2026-10-02 three URLs were read.

URLWhat came back
surfshark.com/businessHTTP 302 to get.surfshark.net/aff_c (query string with offer and affiliate identifiers omitted here). Not followed, because of the tracking identifiers, so no price was read there
surfshark.com/pricingThe three consumer plans ($2.49 / $2.79 / $4.49 on a 24-month term) and a "Get VPN for teams" link. No team prices on this page
surfshark.com/for-teamsThe "From $5.90 / $6.90 / $9.40" cards above, the footnote, and the "Get an Offer" form

robots.txt on the same day has no rule for /business or /for-teams. Whether the September "disallowed" record described the file as it stood then or a reading problem on this side cannot be settled now. What is settled is that on October 2 the readable business prices live at /for-teams, and /business is a redirect, not a pricing page.

article-03 puts it this way: "could not read" is a fact about one retrieval on one date, not a property of the vendor. This article is that sentence in practice.

How does this site tell "not readable," "quote only" and "from" apart?

price_visibility takes one of three values here.

Separate from those is a flag, price_is_from. A "From $X" or a rate that shifts by headcount band is a real amount that still does not answer "how much at my headcount," so it is kept out of every ranking. ExpressVPN for Teams (article-52) and PureVPN Business carry the flag.

With the October 2 reading, Surfshark moved from not_readable to published-with-from. It still appears in no ranking; the reason changes. It is no longer "we could not read it" but "the vendor does not publish a fixed per-user price."

What can be worked out from $5.90, and what cannot

A floor, and only a floor. One-year term, five users minimum, a rate of at least $5.90: the smallest possible Starter bill is 5 x $5.90 = $29.50 a month, or $354.00 for the year.

What cannot be worked out is whether five people actually get $5.90. The footnote says the rate "varies by user count" and does not say which band gets the lowest figure. If five users pay more than $5.90, the real bill is above $29.50. For the same reason there is no per-person figure at 10, 25 or 50, which is why 10-users has no Surfshark row.

Next to the consumer Surfshark price

On surfshark.com/pricing, read the same day, the consumer plans show $2.49, $2.79 and $4.49 a month on a 24-month term. The first bill ($67.23 and so on, covering 27 months) and the renewal terms are in article-31.

The team cards are $5.90 / $6.90 / $9.40 and up on a one-year term. The three plan names match, but the terms do not (24 months against one year), so "double the consumer rate" is not a reading the pages support. What the pages do show side by side is that the names line up and that the per-user floor is higher on the business side.

What to ask before you request an offer

The three questions from article-03, reworded for this page.

  1. The per-user monthly rate at your headcount. Where in "From $5.90" do you land?
  2. Whether anything other than a one-year term exists. The footnote mentions only the one-year plan; monthly billing is not addressed.
  3. Any fixed charge. No dedicated-IP or gateway fee appears on /for-teams.
  4. A trial or refund for teams. The consumer 30-day money-back guarantee (article-31) does not appear on this page.
  5. A maximum headcount. Not stated.

Published prices you can read today

Every vendor with a fixed per-user price is listed on browse. For a 5-user floor like Surfshark's, 5-users does the arithmetic, and best/usd-business-vpn-5-9 ranks the business VPN plans for a team of five to nine.

Who this is not for

Nothing here is about Surfshark's product. It is about which pages could be read, which could not, and what kind of number sits on the one that could. If you already hold an offer, the most this page can do is show you the "From" floor it sits above.
