PureVPN Business pricing: $9 down to $4 by seat count, plus a $5.99 static IP

PureVPN Business, which the page itself calls PureVPN for Teams, prices its Starter plan by seat band. The table is the answer, so it goes first.

SeatsMonthly billing (per user, per month)Annual billing (per user, per month)
1-10$9$7
11-50$8$6
51-100$7$6
101-200$6$5
201-500$5$4
501+$4$3

The annual bands are not cut in the same places as the monthly ones: monthly billing splits 11-50 from 51-100, annual billing runs 11-100 as one $6 band. There is no minimum; the seat picker starts at "1 seats for $9/mo per user." The ceiling is 1,000, at which point the page says "you can only add up to 1000 members." The Pro plan is "Custom," price on request.

One person

No minimum means one seat is a real purchase: $9 a month on monthly billing, or $7 a month on annual billing, which is $84 a year.

Few of the US-dollar business VPNs on this site sell a single seat. NordLayer and GoodAccess both start at five users, so a solo buyer pays for five (article-01 runs that arithmetic for a team of two). PureVPN Business has no such wall.

Ten people

Ten is the top of the first band. Monthly billing is $9 x 10 = $90 a month; annual billing is $7 x 10 = $70 a month, $840 a year, $2,520 over three years.

The eleventh seat moves the team into the next band, $8 monthly or $6 annual. Eleven people on monthly billing come to $8 x 11 = $88, less than ten people at $90. That result depends on a reading the page does not spell out: it prints one rate per band and does not say whether the first ten seats stay at $9 with only the eleventh at $8, or whether every seat moves to the new rate. The figures in this article apply the band rate to every seat. If PureVPN bills in steps instead, the eleven-person bill is higher than shown here.

Fifty people

The 11-50 band: $8 x 50 = $400 a month on monthly billing, $6 x 50 = $300 a month on annual billing, $3,600 a year, $10,800 over three years.

Per person on annual billing, the rate drops a dollar between ten people ($7) and fifty ($6), then to $5 past 100, $4 past 200 and $3 past 500. Not many vendors publish a volume schedule at all; what happens at the 100-person mark elsewhere is laid out in article-61.

About the "13% off" label

The annual card carries a "13% off" badge. The printed rates say something else: $7 against $9 in the 1-10 band is a 22% difference, $6 against $8 in the 11-50 band is 25%, and $3 against $4 at 501+ is 25%. Which two numbers produce 13% is not explained on the page. This site uses the printed per-seat rates.

Add-ons

All three are optional and sit outside the seat rate. Ten people who each take a static IP on annual billing pay $7 + $4.99 = $11.99 per person, $119.90 a month in total. One Team Server adds a flat $50: $5.00 per person spread across ten, or the whole $50 on top of one person's $7 seat. How a flat charge thins out as headcount grows is worked through for every vendor on the dedicated IP cost page.

The Starter card also states a "14-day no question asked money back" guarantee.

What Pro changes

Price: "Custom." The page lists SSO and SCIM-based access, granular role-based access control, device-based access control, activity visibility and audit logs, application-level access control, and dedicated onboarding with priority support. With no figure, Pro does not appear in this site's tables.

Why it is listed here and not ranked

A ranking on this site multiplies one per-user rate by headcount and sorts the result. PureVPN Business has six rates, and picking any one of them misstates the others: $7 applied to 50 people overstates the $6 they would pay, $3 applied to five people understates their $7. So the dataset marks the rows as "from" prices, the vendor page (d/purevpn-business) shows the bands and notes as read, and the rows stay out of every ordering. ExpressVPN for Teams is handled the same way, in article-52.

If the 1-10 band's $7 were dropped into the ten-user ranking as it stands, it would share a line with GoodAccess Essential and OpenVPN CloudConnexa Essential at $7.00. Pinning a rate that becomes $6 at eleven people to the $7 line would be a presentation choice, not a ranking.

Who this is not for

If all you want is the price of one seat for one person, the first row of the table is the whole answer. If you came for the 501+ rate, the last row gives $4 and $3, but the page also caps a team at 1,000 members, so an organization larger than that is outside this table altogether.
