HubSpot vs Zoho CRM pricing: $7 against $14 is $2,520 apart at 10 seats over 3 years
Last updated 2026-10-03. The HubSpot Sales Hub pricing page and Zoho's CRM pricing page were both read on 2026-10-03; Zoho's page opened in rupees, so its dollar prices come from the data file the page itself loads.
Lowest-priced paid plan of each vendor, billed annually (monthly total, effective price per seat in parentheses)
| Seats | HubSpot Starter, $7 | Zoho CRM Standard, $14 | Gap over 36 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $7 ($7) | $14 ($14) | $252 |
| 3 | $21 ($7) | $42 ($14) | $756 |
| 5 | $35 ($7) | $70 ($14) | $1,260 |
| 10 | $70 ($7) | $140 ($14) | $2,520 |
| 25 | $175 ($7) | $350 ($14) | $6,300 |

Short version
- Entry level: HubSpot Starter is $7 per seat per month billed annually; Zoho Standard is $14. Zoho costs exactly double, so the gap grows by $252 per seat over three years.
- Middle tier: HubSpot Professional is $90 plus a required $1,500 one-time onboarding fee. Zoho Professional is $23 and Zoho Enterprise is $40, with no onboarding fee listed.
- Monthly billing closes the entry gap: both vendors list $20 per seat per month.
- Free plans: HubSpot allows 2 users and 1,000 contacts; Zoho allows 3 users and 5,000 records.
- Zoho adds local taxes (VAT, GST and similar) on top of its prices.
Arithmetic, once: three-year cost = price x seats x 36 + onboarding. Ten seats: HubSpot Starter 7 x 10 x 36 = $2,520; Zoho Standard 14 x 10 x 36 = $5,040; difference $5,040 - $2,520 = $2,520.
What happens at the middle tier?
HubSpot's Professional plan moves to Sales Seats at $90 and requires a one-time Professional Onboarding fee of $1,500. The site spreads that fee over the 36 months, which adds $1,500 / 36 = $41.67 to the monthly total, split across however many seats you have. Zoho has no onboarding fee on the figures we copied.
HubSpot Professional against Zoho Professional and Enterprise, billed annually (monthly total, effective per seat in parentheses)
| Seats | HubSpot Professional, $90 + $1,500 | Zoho Professional, $23 | Zoho Enterprise, $40 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $131.67 ($131.67) | $23 ($23) | $40 ($40) |
| 3 | $311.67 ($103.89) | $69 ($23) | $120 ($40) |
| 5 | $491.67 ($98.33) | $115 ($23) | $200 ($40) |
| 10 | $941.67 ($94.17) | $230 ($23) | $400 ($40) |
| 25 | $2,291.67 ($91.67) | $575 ($23) | $1,000 ($40) |
At ten seats over 36 months HubSpot Professional comes to 90 x 10 x 36 + 1,500 = $33,900. Zoho Professional is 23 x 10 x 36 = $8,280 (HubSpot is 4.09x that) and Zoho Enterprise is 40 x 10 x 36 = $14,400 (2.35x). The $1,500 matters most with few seats: at one seat it lifts the effective price from $90 to $131.67, at 25 seats only to $91.67.
Zoho also lists an Ultimate tier at $52 annual, $65 monthly. HubSpot lists an Enterprise tier at $150 plus $3,500 onboarding, billed annually only. Neither is in the tables because they cover the entry and middle tiers only. The calculator takes any seat count.
How big is the monthly-billing gap?
Monthly-billing gap = monthly price / annual price.
| Plan | Annual | Monthly | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Starter | $7 | $20 | 20 / 7 = 2.86x |
| Zoho Standard | $14 | $20 | 20 / 14 = 1.43x |
| HubSpot Professional | $90 | $100 | 1.11x |
| Zoho Professional | $23 | $35 | 1.52x |
| Zoho Enterprise | $40 | $50 | 1.25x |
So the $7 against $14 difference exists only if you commit to a year. Pay HubSpot Starter monthly and it matches Zoho Standard at $20 per seat; ten seats for 36 months would be 20 x 10 x 36 = $7,200 on either. The broader pattern is in article-06 and the annual-commitment rules in article-01.
What do the free plans cover?
HubSpot's free tools are listed as "free for up to 2 users", with up to 1,000 contacts and no time limit. Zoho's free edition is "forever free, for 3 users", with up to 5,000 records across all modules and 1 GB of storage. Contacts and records are different units, so the two limits are not a like-for-like count. article-18 covers free-plan limits across vendors.
What sits outside these figures?
- Zoho: "Local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) will be charged in addition to the prices mentioned."
- HubSpot: we have no tax statement for these figures, so treat them as pre-tax too.
- HubSpot credits: Starter includes 500 and Professional 3,000; extra credits are listed at $0.010 each. Credits are not in any figure above.
- Minimum seats: neither vendor states one for the plans above.
