Atlas and G-P both start at $599. Which of the two will you be able to read on the invoice?
Summary
Summary
Atlas. It calls its $599 a platform fee and says a country rate is added on top, so you know in advance that the invoice has two lines: $599 and the country. G-P's $599 is a "starting at" price with no statement of what moves it. Both sit on the $599 row of this site's table and neither is a list price. Atlas publishes a $199 agent of record for contractors; G-P publishes contractor management from $39. Neither publishes a deposit or exit terms.
Three providers on the $599 row
Deel, G-P and Atlas share the $599 row. Deel's is the only list price; the other two are this article. Deel against G-P is covered separately.
Atlas: two lines by design
Atlas's pricing page presents $599 as the starting platform fee and offers volume pricing for larger, multi-country teams by contacting sales. Atlas's own explainer on how EOR pricing works describes a platform fee with a country-specific rate on top.
This site records that as "$599 plus a country rate." The rate itself is not on the page. Atlas's $599 therefore reads as "at least this, and more depending on the country." Because the structure is stated, so is the way to read the quote.
Atlas publishes an agent of record for contractors at $199 per contractor per month (read 2026-09-28), outside the EOR price.
G-P: one line
G-P's pricing page returned a 404 when this site first read it on 21 August. On 6 September it showed "starting at $599 per employee per month" for EOR and "starting at $39" for contractors, with no contractor-of-record price. The change log records it as "provider began publishing a price."
What the "from" moves with, country, headcount or term, the page does not say. Atlas answers "country"; G-P does not answer. Two starting prices, one with a stated reason to rise and one without.

Reading each quote
Atlas: expect "$599 plus X." Confirm that X is the country rate and ask whether it falls with headcount. Whether the two lines together exceed Deel's $599 decides where Atlas lands in the table.
G-P: if the quote says $599, ask whether that is the price for your country or the starting price repeated. If it is higher, have the reason written down. Only then does it line up against Atlas's two lines.
If both stop at $599, the year is $7,188 at either, and $104,115 for a $90,000 US hire with statutory cost. If they do not, Atlas rises by twelve times X and G-P by an amount nobody has stated.
